FSC Mission and Values

I've been poking around the idea of creating a set of Value Statements to add to our Mission statement slogan: Gather, Grow, Go.  Values tell what is most important to us.  During my sabbatical I finally summarized them, and the Elder Board approved them at our retreat. Here is a sneak peak if you are interested. I'd love your input before I post to our website.  
GATHER:

Community is our heart:
The Christian life is best lived in community. We foster small groups where lives connect and flourish in unity. Heb. 10:24-25

Grace is our gift!
We choose to embrace grace and handle conflicts biblically because God’s boundless grace has overflowed to us first.  Rom. 5:8

GROW:

Jesus is our message
The purpose of FS Church is to share the hope of Jesus that “grows” people into His image. John 14:6

Worship and Prayer is our path
FSC will be a house of prayer and we will have hearts of worship.  Matthew 6:9-13

GO: 

Serving others is our desire
Life is found in serving others as an act of worship. Mark 10:35

Generosity is our privilege
We give of our time, talents and treasure out of gratitude. 2 Cor. 9:7

Passion is our pursuit
In everything, we go "all in" with excellence for Jesus, for people, and for His church. Col. 3:23

Joy is our blessing. 
We celebrate and have fun! Ps. 16:11; Heb. 1:9
