Take the first step on your journey of becoming a follower of Jesus

God loves you deeply. There is absolutely nothing you can do to make Him love you more, and nothing that could ever make Him love you less.
Because of this fierce, unshakeable love, He sent His Son, Jesus, to die in your place, paying the penalty for the sins that separate us from Him. But the grave couldn't hold Him. Jesus was resurrected, rising from the dead in ultimate victory over sin and death, so that you could be made whole and reunited with Him forever.

Salvation is a free gift from God, you can't earn it; you simply accept it by placing your faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus. As Acts 4:12 says, "Salvation is found in no one else."
If you've been living apart from God and are ready to commit your life to Him, you can receive this gift and choose to follow His Word right now, exactly where you are.

Decide to follow Jesus

First, you must admit that you are a sinner in need of a Savior, humbly asking God for the forgiveness of your sins. This step requires turning away from your past mistakes and recognizing that you cannot save yourself. By opening your heart and confessing your need for His grace, you invite His unconditional love and mercy to wash over you, clearing away the guilt and separation of the past.

Second, you must believe with absolute certainty that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose again from the grave to pay the ultimate penalty for your sins. This faith bridges the gap between you and God, breaking the power of shame and fear. Through His resurrection, Jesus offers you a completely fresh start, clothing you in His righteousness and granting you the promise of eternal, new life in Him.

Finally, giving your life to Jesus is a beautiful first step, but discovering how to become more like Christ and growing in your faith are lifelong commitments. True discipleship is a daily journey of walking with Him, spending time in prayer, and learning from His Word. As you surrender your heart to Him day by day, His Holy Spirit will continuously transform your desires, strengthen your character, and guide your path.

Salvation Prayer

Dear God,
I come before You today acknowledging that I am broken and in need of Your saving grace. I believe with all my heart that Jesus Christ is Your Son, the Savior sent to rescue the world. Right now, I surrender my heart and choose to make Jesus the leader and Lord of my life.
I believe He willingly gave His life so my past could be forgiven, and that He conquered death to offer me a brand-new future. I open my hands to receive this incredible new life. This moment is my fresh start, and I am so grateful to finally be called a child of God.
Amen.
